What is Cup and Counter?
Cup and Counter is a single-player coffee shop management simulator for
Windows and macOS, developed and published by Little Big Byte and released
on 20 July 2026.
You run a cafe in first person, brewing drinks to
order, keeping stock ahead of the rush, hiring employees, decorating the
cafe, and keeping customers coming back while still turning a profit.
Cup and Counter is available on PC and Mac through Steam. On Windows it needs Windows 10 or later, 4 GB of RAM and a DirectX 11 graphics card; on macOS it needs macOS 13 Ventura or later on Apple Silicon, with 8 GB of RAM. The game takes about 4 GB of storage. There is no console version.
Does Cup and Counter have multiplayer or co-op?
Cup and Counter is a single-player game today. Multiplayer is something we are considering for a future update, but nothing is confirmed and we would rather not promise a date we might miss. You can hire in-game employees to help once the shop grows.
Does Cup and Counter have controller support?
Yes. Cup and Counter has full controller support, so the game can be played on a gamepad.
Does Cup and Counter work on Steam Deck?
Steam currently lists Cup and Counter as Unsupported on Steam Deck. In our own testing the game runs fine there, and we have it back in for review. We will update this answer as soon as Valve comes back to us.
How long is Cup and Counter, and does it have an ending?
Cup and Counter has no fixed ending. The game is open-ended. You unlock equipment and recipes, expand the floor space, and grow the business for as long as you want to keep playing, so how long a save lasts is up to you.
What languages does Cup and Counter support?
Cup and Counter is available in eleven languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Spain) and Turkish.
Does Cup and Counter have Steam achievements and cloud saves?
Yes. Cup and Counter supports Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud saves and Steam Trading Cards, and it is enabled for Steam Family Sharing.
Where can I buy Cup and Counter?
Cup and Counter is available on Steam. Pricing varies by region and Steam runs discounts periodically, so the store page is the place to check the current price.
Who made Cup and Counter?
Cup and Counter was made by
Little Big Byte, an independent game studio based in Tasmania, Australia. That is us. We are both the developer and the publisher.
How do I report a bug or get help?
Bugs can be reported through the form at
littlebigbyte.com/bug-report. Attaching your save file is the single most useful thing you can include, because it lets us reproduce the problem directly. You can also join the
Cup and Counter Discord to ask questions or report issues there.
